Quality Engineer - SWITCH Platform

Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements

• Background or understanding of Quality Management, including best practice for deployment by large, complex and contract-led organisations
• Experience in ensuring compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 19443 (highly desirable)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• The ability to influence and to provide constructive challenge which is accepted by others

• Understanding of a regulated nuclear site environment

Responsibilities

• Provide first line support to the Project Quality team and Responsible Designer (RD) for SWITCH associated NCR processes
• Ensure NCRs within SWITCH are managed in accordance with regulatory compliance
• Lead and manage both reactive and proactive improvement initiatives for SWITCH and PowerBI tools
• Coordinate and deliver scheduled Accenture improvement releases, maintaining progress visibility through Jira Kanban boards
• Conduct pre and post-implementation testing to identify defects for resolution
• Maintain a suite of SWITCH NCR guidance material, ensuring content is clear and accurate
• Oversee updates and structural improvements to the SWITCH NCR eNZO page
• Support the development, refinement, and maintenance of SWITCH NCR PowerBI dashboards
• Manage BAU onboarding requests for SWITCH NCR users
• Champion and promote best practice SWITCH NCR management across the HPC project
• Support the use of Project Intelligence and PowerBI to monitor key SWITCH NCR metrics and performance
• Manage and update the SWITCH NCR Mailbox, triaging all correspondence and requests
• Provide support to the Quality PMO to maintain and develop all SWITCH NCR PowerBI reports
