Senior Consultant (Finance Software Implementations)

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong background in the construction industry
• Solid financial/commercial experience
• Experience as a quantity surveyor or finance/accounting professional
• Knowledge of UK construction accounting and commercial processes (CIS, valuations, applications for payment, retentions)
• Strong change management skills including stakeholder engagement and communications planning
• Confident project management skills, including scoping delivery and budgeting
• Ability to turn operational needs into clear system designs and reports
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for customer success
• Nice to have: experience line-managing junior consultants
• Nice to have: proven experience implementing construction-related software
• Nice to have: experience with integrations between finance/ERP and field/project tools
• Nice to have: exposure to UK GAAP, HMRC reporting, and MTD
• Nice to have: prior work with Sage Intacct Construction

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholders through change and facilitate decision-making
• Plan communications and training tailored to different audiences
• Own end-to-end delivery including scoping, solution design, testing, and go-live
• Manage effective project rhythms and keep delivery on time and on budget
• Build practical dashboards and reporting for decision-making
• Act as a trusted advisor on project accounting and procurement
• Translate construction needs into robust system designs and workflows
• Measure outcomes and iterate for lasting results
• Guide configuration and oversee data migration with integrity
• Coordinate integrations with common UK construction tools
• Conduct line management for junior consultants and mentor the team
• Contribute to playbooks and present at customer forums
