Requirements
- We require commercial experience in data migration, implementation, or a software/business consulting role, ideally within B2B software or SaaS.
- We require strong hands-on SQL and relational database experience.
- We require practical experience with data cleansing, transformation, deduplication, and validation techniques.
- We require confidence with Excel, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables, for large-scale data preparation and reconciliation.
- We value exposure to ETL tools or scripting such as Python or PowerShell for repeatable data manipulation.
- We need a strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot inconsistencies and anomalies in large datasets.
- We need a methodical, detail-oriented approach to handling large volumes of sensitive customer data.
- We require the ability to translate customer requirements into system configuration.
- We need a confident, engaging trainer who can explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- We require the ability to manage multiple implementation projects and timelines concurrently.
- We need clear written communication skills and comfort producing configuration and training documentation.
Responsibilities
- We extract, cleanse, transform, and validate customer data from legacy systems, spreadsheets, and third-party exports ready for migration.
- We write and maintain SQL scripts and ETL routines to map source data fields to our platform schemas.
- We perform data quality checks, deduplication, and reconciliation to ensure migrated records match source counts and business rules.
- We build and refine reusable data migration templates and scripts to speed up future onboarding projects.
- We investigate and resolve data discrepancies raised during UAT, working directly in the database and back end to correct records.
- We document data mapping decisions, transformation logic, and known exceptions for audit and handover.
- We configure platform settings, workflows, and integrations to match each customers agreed solution design.
- We deliver end-user and administrator training sessions, both remote and on-site, tailored to each customers processes.
- We support go-live and hypercare, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth handover to Support.
- We produce clear configuration and training documentation and contribute to internal implementation playbooks.

We are hiring an Implementation Engineer to work at the intersection of data and delivery in a Hull/Hybrid role, with three days a week in the office. The role is hands-on and focused on data migration, system configuration, training, and go-live support.
