We are looking for an experienced QA professional to support a high-impact modernization project on a short-term (3-month) contract in Downtown Toronto. 💻 Who You Are: You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring software quality and reliabilityYou thrive in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholdersYou are proactive in identifying and tracking defects, ensuring smooth software releasesYou have experience with both manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverageYou’re familiar with tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps, TFS, and industry-standard testing methodologies 📍 Work Type Hybrid (2-3 days per week required in the office) Office Location: Toronto, Ontario Vacancy Type: This role reflects an existing vacancyContract Length: Contract goes until August 14, 2026, with the possibility of extension (must be incorporated) 🎯 What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers): Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium with Java or C#Build and execute automated test scripts for web applications to ensure high-quality releasesDevelop detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business and technical requirementsIdentify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to drive resolutionPerform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate system functionalityCollaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to define and improve testing strategiesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deliverySupport production issue investigation and contribute to overall quality assurance best practices ⭐ What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist): 5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation testingHands-on experience with Selenium (Java or C#) and building automation frameworksStrong programming skills in Java or C#Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., TestNG, NUnit, JUnit)Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps or similarSolid understanding of Agile, SDLC, and Scrum methodologiesExperience with API testing and tools such as Postman or RestAssured is an assetStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skillsExperience with defect tracking tools and test management systemsCTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) by ISTQB or equivalent certification (CSTE or CSQA) 🔥 What Makes This Role Exciting?
