Software Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience designing and developing complex web applications
• In-depth knowledge of C# ASP.NET MVC development
• Understanding of software development best practices and OO design patterns
• Experience writing unit tests
• Familiarity using version control systems (GIT & Azure)
• In-depth knowledge of JQuery and AJAX
• Good knowledge of SQL Server databases and SQL queries
• In-depth knowledge of frontend web development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (desirable)
• Familiarity with ReactJS or KnockoutJS (desirable)
• Knowledge of SASS for CSS generation (desirable)
• Experience with UI Automation (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Building, developing, and providing maintenance of the core products using backend technologies
• Participating in a cross-functional team with frontend, backend, and full stack developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and product owners
• Estimating and delivering high-quality software solutions iteratively in sprints
• Ensuring high-quality product delivery through close collaboration and reviews, developing to coding standards
