PAM Specialist

Salary: £35,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• Hands-on experience implementing and managing PAM solutions
• Strong experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe and Privileged Remote Access
• Experience with credential vaulting, password rotation, and privileged session monitoring
• Experience onboarding Windows, Linux/Unix, and network devices to PAM
• Knowledge of Active Directory privileged accounts and SIEM integration
• Understanding of least privilege principles and Just-In-Time access
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST CSF frameworks
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a STEM discipline preferred
• BeyondTrust certifications preferred
• Experience with other PAM platforms such as CyberArk or Delinea preferred
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python preferred
• Experience with database privileged access preferred
• Public sector or critical infrastructure experience preferred
• Knowledge of OT/ICS environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure BeyondTrust Password Safe and Privileged Remote Access
• Automate password rotation and manage privileged account workflows
• Record, monitor, and manage privileged sessions
• Onboard servers, network devices, and applications into PAM
• Discover and vault service, application, and shared accounts
• Configure session proxies, Just-In-Time access, and break-glass procedures
• Integrate PAM with SIEM and Active Directory/Entra ID
• Manage upgrades, patches, and troubleshoot platform issues
• Maintain documentation, policies, and runbooks
• Support audit and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with infrastructure, applications, and security teams to maintain a robust PAM environment

We are seeking a PAM Specialist to join us on a 6-month contract, inside IR35, with the likelihood of extension. This is a hybrid role based in Abingdon, UK, with 2 to 3 days per week onsite. In this technically focused position, we will rely on you to help secure privileged access across our environment using BeyondTrust and to work closely with our infrastructure, applications, and security teams to strengthen our PAM controls and support compliance and operational resilience.
