Job Description
About the Company Sentrabyte Digital Solusi is a remote-first cybersecurity firm with more than five years of experience. We focus on advanced security assessments, practical risk validation, and impactful penetration testing for clients worldwide.
Our work environment is streamlined, fully distributed, outcome-oriented, and free from unnecessary bureaucracy. We prioritize clarity, professionalism, and strong technical execution.
Role Overview We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist (Red Team / Offensive Security) with demonstrated experience in real-world exploitation and structured penetration testing.
This role is ideal for individuals who value autonomy, enjoy deep technical work, and take pride in delivering precise, high-impact security results. You will conduct authorized penetration tests, validate security issues, and help refine our internal testing methodologies.
Clear expectations, steady workflows, and measurable output define this position.
Key Responsibilities • Perform advanced penetration testing on applications, networks, and infrastructure. • Confirm vulnerabilities and evaluate their real-world impact under authorized conditions. • Analyze access paths and verify the practicality and security of system access. • Produce thorough technical documentation with reproducible steps and supporting evidence. • Collaborate with internal reviewers to maintain technical accuracy and consistency. • Deliver consistent weekly results that meet established quality benchmarks. • Stay updated on modern offensive security tools, attack methods, and industry practices.
Requirements • Demonstrated experience conducting real-world penetration tests beyond CTFs or lab-only scenarios. • Strong understanding of web and network security, authentication, and risk validation. • Ability to perform structured manual testing using analytical techniques. • Familiarity with commonly used offensive security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, dirsearch, and enumeration utilities. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a results-focused environment. • Strong English writing skills, especially for producing technical reports.
Nice to Have • Experience with authorized penetration testing, Red Team operations, or validated bug bounty findings. • Ability to design stable and repeatable testing workflows. • Practical experience with Linux and Windows environments. • Relevant certifications (OSCP, OSEP, etc.) are beneficial but not required.
Why Work With Us • Fully remote role with flexible hours. • Engineering-centric environment without corporate politics. • Opportunity to work on real-world security projects, not just simulations. • Performance-based bonus options. • Supportive and technically strong team culture.
Compensation depends on demonstrated exploitation skill, testing consistency, and technical depth.
Salary Range • Junior / Intermediate: USD 18k – 30k • Mid-Level: USD 30k – 45k • Senior / Advanced Red Team: USD 45k – 80k+ Annual compensation varies based on proven real-world exploitation experience.
