Requirements
- We are looking for an experienced Network Security Architect with 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and architecture, including at least 3+ years specialising in large-scale network segmentation.
- We require 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing leading network security solutions such as NGFWs, NDR, SASE, CASB, WAF, NAC, and ZTNA.
- We need deep expertise in core networking technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, IPSec, and VLANs.
- We expect detailed understanding of enterprise network transport, infrastructure, application, and security protocols, including TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP, SMB, RDP, HTTP, FTP, TLS/SSL, IPSec, SSH, SAML, and OAuth.
- We are seeking proven experience in identifying, assessing, and remediating network-related security risks and misconfigurations.
- We need strong technical knowledge of Microsoft-based enterprise IT infrastructure.
- We require experience acting as an architect or lead on large projects spanning multiple countries and cultures.
- We are looking for a background in defining security standards and processes within large corporate IT environments.
- We value working knowledge of cyber security frameworks and methodologies such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, and the Lockheed Martin Kill Chain.
- We require candidates to be able to work on-site 5 days per week in Oxfordshire, with flexibility for occasional remote working.
Responsibilities
- We will have our Network Security Architect join our team on a permanent basis and contribute to a global security programme.
- We expect you to focus initially on network segmentation across the business.
- We will rely on you to improve security standards across the organisation.
- We need you to lead technical projects and work closely with our technical colleagues and vendors.
- We want you to apply your expertise across our current technology stack, including Fortigate, Cisco, SD-WAN, and Palo Alto.
- We expect you to identify and resolve network security risks and misconfigurations.
- We need you to help define and implement security standards and processes in our enterprise environment.
