Junior PHP Developer

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements

• Some commercial experience with PHP development
• Good understanding of programming and coding principles
• Knowledge of web development technologies
• Experience or understanding of MySQL databases
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Exposure to Laravel or other PHP frameworks is desirable
• Understanding of APIs is desirable
• Knowledge of Git or version control is desirable
• A willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Good problem-solving ability
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of PHP-based applications and websites
• Write clean and efficient code with support from our wider team
• Assist with existing web platforms and systems
• Work across backend and website functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Support new development projects and improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams on customer-focused solutions
• Learn and develop technical skills within our supportive environment
