IT Support Engineer - Stonehouse

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with 12–18 months of experience in IT support.
• We need confidence working with Microsoft technologies.
• We require experience with Active Directory, including user creation, password resets, and account changes.
• We need experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including mailbox creation and basic licensing.
• We are looking for someone who is comfortable supporting non-technical users over the phone.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• We are seeking an immediately available IT Support Engineer based in Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities

• We will have you rename existing store email accounts and standardise naming conventions.
• You will create 300 new user mailboxes.
• You will support users with login, setup, and access issues.
• You will call store teams and guide them through the onboarding process.
• You will carry out light admin tasks in Business Central, with training provided.
• You may support the wider IT team with smaller tasks if the project is ahead of schedule.

We are a well-established UK organisation undergoing a major internal technology uplift, including a new email structure across all sites. This is a project-focused role rather than BAU, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership, and keep things moving. We offer a hybrid working pattern, with the first week onsite in Gloucester for onboarding, followed by 1–2 days per week onsite and the remainder remote. The start date is ASAP.
