Developer-in-Test

Salary: £35,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• Active SC Security Clearance
• Strong Java coding skills
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Serenity, or Cucumber
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Stash, Hudson, or Github
• Testing UI and Web Services systems, including end-to-end and isolated testing using Mocks
• Experience with large datasets and understanding of data isolation in multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Proficient in writing and maintaining SQL insert, update, and delete statements
• Experience using Test Management tools like Jira for planning, test execution, and reporting
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud environments and automated infrastructure
• Advantageous skills include JavaScript, JMeter scripting, performance testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated tests to ensure software quality
• Work collaboratively with the development team to integrate testing into the development process
• Analyze test results and report defects to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks and strategies
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile environment
• Ensure compliance with government project standards and best practices
• Deliver and maintain documentation related to testing processes and outcomes
