Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong commercial experience with AWS cloud services.
• Solid frontend development experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices, including CI/CD and version control.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Previous public sector project experience.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue is desirable.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud-native development is desirable.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code is desirable.
• Experience working on government or regulated industry programmes is desirable.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain and hold BPSS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications in a cloud-native environment.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend solutions using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Develop and integrate backend services and APIs.
• Work within AWS environments, leveraging cloud services to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to solution design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and accessibility standards.
• Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are hiring for a high-profile public sector programme on a remote-first contract with occasional travel for team meetings and stakeholder engagement.
