Job Description
Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements
- We need proven experience managing large volumes of engineering or technical data and documentation within a regulated or high-assurance environment.
- We need advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and reporting, plus familiarity with enterprise data systems.
- We need experience working with engineering change management processes in a controlled environment.
- We need a strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and systems, such as CMII or equivalent frameworks.
- We need the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary defence teams and stakeholders.
- We need excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- We need the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, programme-driven environment.
- Desirable: experience in defence, aerospace, or government programmes.
- Desirable: familiarity with PLM and/or document management systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, or SAP.
- Desirable: knowledge of relevant standards such as DEF STANs, ISO 10007, or AQAP.
- Desirable: experience supporting in-service support or lifecycle management programmes.
Responsibilities
- We will manage, maintain, and control large volumes of data and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and accessibility.
- We will use advanced Microsoft Excel and other data management tools to analyse, track, and report on key information.
- We will support and administer engineering change processes, ensuring all changes are documented, controlled, and implemented in line with established procedures.
- We will apply structured change management practices to maintain integrity across documentation and systems.
- We will maintain and improve configuration management processes and systems, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- We will build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, project management, and operations teams.
- We will ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and security requirements.
- We will identify opportunities to improve data handling, reporting, and configuration control processes.
