Senior Java Developer

Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• We have 5 years of Java development experience.
• We have experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot 1 and 2, for developing new or existing microservices.
• We have experience with SQL databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• We are familiar with all phases of software development, from requirements gathering and design through to build, deployment, and support.
• We have strong experience in unit and regression testing.
• We have a clear orientation toward quality and best practices in code development.
• We can operate well under a variety of different situations and types of projects.

Responsibilities

• We work in a Scrum team with cross-functional skills in tight collaboration, practising Agile.
• We contribute to real decisions about technology to create maintainable solutions for our customers.
• We participate in a highly collaborative group of software engineering professionals.
• We learn, develop our skills, and grow into a rounded developer.
• We develop software to meet our clients user needs using Java on the AWS Cloud platform.
• We follow best practice guidelines and help improve those guidelines.
• We contribute to other areas of development within the project using the latest technologies.
• We create best-in-class documentation with our client users in mind.
