Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £46,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an engineer with varied software engineering language experience.
• You should have demonstrated the ability across several development projects to design and deliver robust solutions in large, multi-layered, distributed systems.
• You should have experience taking support strategies in a software development role.
• You should have a good understanding of all aspects of the software lifecycle.
• You should have good knowledge of software lifecycle models such as waterfall and Agile.

Responsibilities

• We will apply our experience to take a support role in the design, implementation, and testing of the Submarine Command System teams system solutions.
• We will guide and mentor other Software Engineers throughout the lifecycle.
• We will assist the management team with reporting, planning, and estimation activities.
• We will meet our customers and end users as required to support the development of our programme(s) and the continued evolution of the product.
