Senior Security Research Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We have strong experience in vulnerability research, exploit development, or reverse engineering.
• We have experience in binary analysis.
• We have a deep understanding of low-level systems, software internals, or embedded systems.
• We are comfortable working in a research-led, non-product environment.
• We bring strong technical curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
• We may come from a government or defence research environment and want to continue deep technical work in a more flexible, well-resourced organisation.

Responsibilities

• We work on complex security challenges across systems, software, and platforms.
• We identify and analyse vulnerabilities in highly sensitive environments.
• We perform binary analysis and reverse engineering.
• We develop exploits and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• We investigate low-level system behaviour across operating systems and embedded platforms.
• We contribute to research direction and technical problem-solving within the team.
• We focus on research-led investigative work rather than feature delivery.
