AI Agentic Engineer

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for strong experience in AI/ML or software engineering, with a clear interest in agentic AI systems and real-world applications.
• We require strong Python development experience.
• We value hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar.
• We require understanding of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and tool-using AI systems.
• We require experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We expect strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, and scalable design.
• We consider healthcare, life sciences, or regulated-environment experience a strong bonus.
• Experience with AI safety, evaluation, or model monitoring is a bonus.
• Familiarity with distributed systems or event-driven architectures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• We design and develop AI agent systems that can interact with tools, APIs, and data sources to complete complex tasks autonomously.
• We work closely with product and engineering teams to translate clinical and operational requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions.
• We ensure safety, reliability, and interpretability are built into the solutions we deliver.
• We help build autonomous AI systems that support clinical and operational decision-making.
• We contribute to the development of next-generation intelligent healthcare solutions in a MedTech environment.
• We collaborate with a forward-thinking engineering team on cutting-edge AI projects with real-world impact.
