User Researcher - South East London

Salary: £117,000 - 123,942 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in user research within Agile environments
• Proven ability to translate insights into practical design recommendations
• Experience engaging stakeholders and influencing decisions
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive research practices
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving teams
• Desirable: NHS or healthcare experience
• Desirable: mobile app research experience
• Must be BPSS eligible

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and deliver user research across the Agile lifecycle
• Use qualitative methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, ethnography, and focus groups
• Collaborate with Designers, Product Owners, and Developers to prioritise research
• Turn research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
• Communicate complex research outputs to stakeholders effectively
• Ensure research supports accessible, inclusive, and ethical design
• Contribute to service and design improvements based on user insight
• Facilitate workshops and help teams interpret research findings
• Advocate for user-centred design across teams

We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join our Agile team delivering user-centred digital services. This is a remote role with occasional travel to London, offered at a rate of £477 per day inside IR35 for a 12-month duration.
