Solution Architect - AI and Automation

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering solutions on the Microsoft Azure Data Platform (Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure ML, Power BI)
• Expertise in modern data engineering approaches such as ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming, APIs, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and SaaS integrations
• Knowledge of data governance, information security, and AI ethics within regulated industries
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and ethical AI and data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
• Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution architecture across AI, machine learning, and data platforms
• Maintain architectural blueprints ensuring interoperability, resilience, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Lead architecture design reviews and provide technical leadership to delivery teams using Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
• Mentor technical teams and promote responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and security
