Requirements

• Proven experience delivering large-scale cloud migration programmes
• Experience supporting large-scale application migration programmes from on-premises environments to AWS
• Hands-on experience with EKS, ECS, and OpenShift
• Experience designing and documenting high-level and low-level solution designs
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and application migration strategies
• AWS Kiro is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of a large-scale application migration to AWS
• Produce high-level and low-level solution design documentation
• Provide technical guidance on migrating microservices-based applications
• Design and support container platform solutions using EKS, ECS, and OpenShift
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define migration strategies
• Contribute to AWS cost modelling and provide commercial considerations for proposed solutions

We are working with a leading global IT services provider on a 3-month contract for an OpenShift Architect. This is a remote role inside IR35, focused on supporting a large-scale cloud migration programme. We are looking for someone to help migrate a portfolio of microservices-based applications from an on-premises cloud environment to AWS.
