Senior Imperva DAM / Linux Security Engineer

Salary: £125,000 - 150,000 per year

Requirements

• We need strong Imperva DAM experience or equivalent experience with a similar data activity monitoring platform.
• We need strong Linux administration skills.
• We need scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or similar languages.
• We need experience supporting enterprise security platforms.
• We need strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.
• We are looking for someone comfortable working in a complex enterprise environment on a contract basis.
• We prefer hands-on security engineering experience with platform ownership and operational support.
• Experience with integrations such as Active Directory, SIEM, Syslog, and monitoring tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• We support and administer the Imperva DAM platform.
• We manage database agents and related infrastructure.
• We deliver patching, upgrades, and platform improvements.
• We monitor system health and perform regular maintenance.
• We investigate incidents and carry out root cause analysis.
• We support integrations with Active Directory, SIEM, Syslog, and monitoring tools.
• We automate processes to improve efficiency.
• We take ownership of a Linux-based security estate and help ensure stability and compliance.

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Imperva DAM / Linux Security Engineer for a 6-month contract to support and enhance a large-scale Imperva Data Activity Monitoring platform within a complex enterprise environment. This is a hybrid role, mainly remote with occasional onsite working, and offers a competitive day rate depending on experience and client requirements.
