C# Developer - Hybrid - Banking

Salary: £18,000 - 20,700 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in C# development
• Proficiency in T-SQL and PL/SQL
• Solid understanding of SQL and Oracle databases
• Familiarity with Visual C#.NET
• Experience in quality assurance and unit testing
• Ability to analyze business requirements and design applications
• Knowledge of disaster recovery processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working in hybrid environments (in-office and remote)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Capability to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into application designs
• Program in Visual C#.NET with Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Conduct unit testing and quality assurance for applications
• Support existing C# and .NET applications
• Define necessary database objects in systems
• Provide SQL scripts for database enquiries
• Assist in system distribution for Citrix and application servers
• Troubleshoot system failures and implement solutions
• Liaise with application support teams across locations
• Update versions of MS .NET Framework and Visual .NET platform
• Communicate with Helpdesk staff for system support
• Coordinate with the Release team for rolling out changes
• Maintain change history for applications
