C++ Software Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• We require at least 2 years of professional experience using C++.
• We require strong knowledge of the JUCE framework.
• We require proficiency in Python.
• We require experience with REST APIs.
• We require experience with VST development.
• We require experience using BASH.
• We require an understanding of Digital Signal Processing principles.
• We require excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• We require a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• We require a background in music and audio software.
• We require the ability to work independently and know when to ask for support.
• Desirable: experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Desirable: familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Desirable: software testing experience.

Responsibilities

• We develop systems and audio plugins using C++ and JUCE.
• We collaborate with our team on code reviews, bug fixing, and continuous improvement.
• We carry out software and hardware testing.
• We apply Digital Signal Processing principles in our work.
• We contribute to app development.
• We work independently on assigned tasks while seeking support when needed.
