DevOps Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Strong Python development skills
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of Apigee API management (desirable)
• Understanding of FHIR and HL7 healthcare data standards (desirable)
• React front-end development experience (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS services
• Deploy and manage AWS services and associated tooling
• Optimize cloud architecture for efficiency, resilience, and performance
• Build and maintain highly available applications at scale
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
• Build and manage AWS Lambda functions and infrastructure-as-code
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the cloud infrastructure
• Ensure security best practices are consistently applied
• Contribute to security reviews and remediation of identified risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Define, design, and deliver new features in partnership with product and engineering teams
