Salary: £25,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements

• We prefer candidates with knowledge and experience in Microsoft client/server environments, Microsoft SQL, and networking technologies.
• We prefer an IT qualification or education, or previous working experience in an IT role.
• We need someone with excellent communication skills.
• We need someone who learns quickly and has a friendly, concise approach.
• We need someone who is bright, driven, energetic, and passionate about learning and technology.
• We require a driving licence and access to a car.
• We require the ability to travel for customer visits, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• We provide remote technical assistance for bespoke business management software systems to our existing customers.
• We provide technical support for our bespoke eCommerce platform.
• We administer basic SQL databases.
• We assist and train customers on-site when required.
• We install, configure, and diagnose desktop PCs and servers.
• We manage client, server, and network security.
• We configure and support multi-site LAN, WAN, and VOIP systems.
• We support our bespoke eCommerce platform across desktop and mobile platforms.

We are a growing software business based in Uckfield, East Sussex, offering a permanent, full-time IT Software Support / Entry Level IT Systems role. This is an on-site position with working hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and a driver is required. We offer a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 per annum DOE, along with 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, parking, a pension, social team events, casual dress, and company sickness pay. We are a motivated and friendly team, and we provide training and the opportunity to expand and develop practical IT knowledge while contributing to our ongoing success.
