IT Support Engineer

Salary: £26,000 - 31,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with ideally 3 to 4 years of experience in IT support.
• We will consider previous MSP experience as beneficial, but strong customer-facing IT support experience is also acceptable.
• We need strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• We need experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• We need experience supporting Windows Server and Windows 11.
• We need networking fundamentals, including routers and switches.
• We need strong customer service skills.
• We need good attention to detail and organisation.
• We would value experience with Azure / Entra ID, Hyper-V, VMware, Intune, endpoint management or SharePoint.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• We manage support calls and service tickets.
• We resolve 1st and 2nd line IT issues.
• We support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server and Windows 11.
• We carry out routine server and desktop maintenance.
• We support client projects.
• We maintain service levels and client documentation.
• We deliver clear, professional customer service.
• We work remotely and onsite where required across a diverse client base in Yorkshire.
