Remote Data Architect

Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Several years of experience in data architecture and data engineering
• Technical expertise with the ability to make strategic data decisions
• Experience with Azure-based data platforms and tools, including Synapse, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of master data management principles, data quality frameworks, and data governance best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Fabric, and similar technologies
• Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, XPath, XML, Azure-based data science tools, BI tools, data visualisation, and Agile

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of our data architecture
• Ensure our internal data architecture meets the current and future needs of the business
• Transform and use data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making
• Help create competitive advantage through strong data architecture
• Maintain best practices and adherence to architectural principles
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of our data architecture and data assets
• Suggest investment opportunities and implement new technology to strengthen our data capability
