Salary: £20,800 - 26,000 per year

Requirements

• We require strong background in Solution Architecture or Infrastructure Architecture.
• We require proven experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) and BCDR.
• We require experience across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• We require strong understanding of RTO, RPO, resilience, and recoverability.
• We require experience with Azure, AWS, VMware, or enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• We require the ability to challenge technical designs and recovery assumptions.
• We require excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• We require active transferable SC Clearance.
• We require experience within enterprise or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• We design and assess disaster recovery and cloud recovery solutions.
• We validate RTO/RPO objectives and recovery feasibility.
• We analyse Business Impact Analysis (BIA) outputs and application dependencies.
• We provide architectural assurance across resilience and recoverability strategies.
• We define recovery approaches for high availability and critical services.
• We work with infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders.
• We support operational resilience and recovery improvement initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Disaster Recovery & Resilience to support a major enterprise infrastructure and operational resilience programme. This is a contract role offered remotely or hybrid, and it requires active SC clearance. The role is ideal for a strong infrastructure or cloud architect with experience designing and assessing disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience solutions across complex hybrid environments.
