Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
• Linux systems engineering experience.
• Experience with Go or Rust.
• Comfort working in a startup environment and adapting focus while working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to ensure successful Teleport deployments.
• Meet regularly with customers to understand pain points blocking deployments and remove roadblocks.
• Write and fix Infrastructure as Code deployments, including Helm charts.
• Develop workarounds and write Go code to fix bugs and implement small features.
• Work with customers on more complex issues to clarify the problem, gather requirements, and build the business case for product and engineering investment.
• Work at the intersection of product, engineering, and revenue.
• Be part of the engineering team and collaborate closely on networking, performance, security, and integrations with existing systems.
• Write open source code as part of the role.
• Meet regularly with users of our products.
