Java Full Stack Developer

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Java 8 and Java 11 experience
• Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, with a preference for Angular and NodeJS
• Practical experience in microservices development
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of CI and DevOps technologies (preferably Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
• Practical experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and serverless technologies)
• SC eligibility or active SC Security Clearance preferred
• Experience in Central Government sector is desirable

Responsibilities

• Work on large-scale IT modernization programs for government clients
• Collaborate with our team in a hybrid remote setup, coming to the office 5-7 days a month
• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Implement microservices architecture for efficient application deployment
• Design and manage relational databases
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines with Git and Jenkins for automation
• Participate in the development and deployment processes using AWS technologies
• Ensure security compliance with SC standards
