Technical Account Manager (Cybersecurity) - Reading

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous experience and understanding of the operation of Security Operation Centres (SOC) and detection/response
• A strong understanding of basic cybersecurity principles
• Ability to manage time effectively and deliver tasks independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working in/around Security Operation Centres
• Familiarity with SIEM/EDR/SOAR platforms
• Good understanding of cloud platforms
• Basic ability to script
• Relevant certifications are advantageous (e.g., CREST CPSA, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+)

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and understanding customer business risks
• Work with onboarding consultants to build and maintain Threat Models during live service
• Serve as the allocated Technical Account Manager for operational matters and proactive management of high-priority incidents
• Act as a customer advocate within the team
• Own the operational relationship between customers and our team
• Assist operational teams in resolving issues during service operations
• Identify and implement technical enhancements that provide value to customers
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to improve service quality and maintain a customer roadmap
