Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructures
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
• Experience with NginX, IIS, virtualization, and web services
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Proficiency in MSSQL Server and PowerShell
• Experience or strong desire to learn Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker)
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to infrastructure upgrades

Responsibilities

• Maintain hosting infrastructure to ensure availability of web, database, and messaging systems
• Manage servers across development, testing, and production environments
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure events such as availability and capacity management
• Be proactive in implementing infrastructure upgrades
• Participate in transitioning the organization toward a DevOps environment and new tech implementations
