Test Automation Engineer

Salary: £39,500 - 71,000 per year

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in manual testing
• Minimum of 3 years experience in automated testing at all levels
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced)
• Manual and automated testing experience of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions
• Familiarity with test and bug management tools, ideally Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
• Hands-on experience with API testing
• Experience with test automation frameworks design, implementation, and maintenance
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Experience working on Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD)
• Ability to develop automated functional tests for UI, API, and DB layers
• Experience working in UK public sector projects
• Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases and test scripts
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated testing of Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform solutions to identify and document defects
• Carry out manual test case creation and execution
• Conduct manual and automated API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Perform manual and automated accessibility testing
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and design test cases
• Report and track defects, working with the development team to resolve issues
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis activities
• Maintain and improve our test automation frameworks, strategies, processes, and methodologies
• Work remotely while attending meetings and workshops as needed
