Responsibilities

• We lead solution design, architecture, and technical decision-making.
• We collaborate with Product teams to shape requirements and delivery plans.

• We support systems in production and improve platform performance.
• We act as a senior technical leader within an AI-enabled engineering environment.
• We work closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to design, build, and scale modern software solutions.

We are a high-growth UK SaaS business investing heavily in our engineering function and looking for an experienced Principal or Lead Engineer to help shape the future of our customer-facing platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role within a mature engineering environment, where we offer significant technical influence across products and platform direction, a modern engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, and flexible remote-first working with limited onsite requirements. The role is UK-only, with remote-hybrid working and just 4 to 6 office visits per year.
