Full Remote AV Field Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous experience in a professional audio, video, video conferencing, or similar technical role
• Ability to install and configure equipment using software tools
• Ability to terminate cables to industry standard
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and manage our own workload efficiently
• Current driving licence is essential

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites and resolve issues in a timely and neat manner
• Communicate with clients
• Use problem-solving skills to find faults and consistently provide high-standard solutions
• Deliver end-user training after installation of new devices
• Accurately complete job reports, explain steps taken, and obtain client sign-off
• Accurately complete other service records
• Build relationships with clients
• Identify sales opportunities with existing clients and feed back to our Sales team
• Conduct and record site surveys to a high standard
• Maintain standards of technical excellence within the team
• Participate in training and development
