Technical Systems Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical implementation and engineering support for IT services
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online and Enterprise Mobility Suite
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and authentication management
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016, particularly Active Directory
• Proficient with Microsoft Exchange Server (2013 to 2019)
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment and automation
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Attend project kick-off meetings and support Joint Verification with customers
• Produce high-quality, customer-facing solution documents
• Create templates for core technology areas to ensure consistent output
• Lead by example and drive changes in processes or products
• Deploy technologies according to approved designs and technical standards
• Support Sales in the Pre-Sales process as a technical expert
• Advise customers on technology solutions to meet their business objectives
• Proactively recommend improvements to customer systems and processes
• Create high-quality guides and maintain CMDB/asset information
• Manage work diary effectively to drive efficiency
