Requirements

• We require strong hands-on experience with AWS data engineering tools, such as Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, and Athena.
• We require advanced SQL skills.
• We require strong Python skills for data processing and pipeline development.
• We require exposure to infrastructure and tooling, such as Terraform, APIs, and CI/CD.
• We require experience working in Business Intelligence or analytics environments.
• We require some exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools, such as AWS Bedrock or similar cloud-based AI services.
• We require experience supporting AI-enabled data products or workflows.
• We require an understanding of generative AI and prompt engineering concepts.
• We prefer candidates with a strong foundation in AWS data engineering and BI.
• We require the ability to work through an umbrella company due to the IR35 status of the contract.

We are recruiting for an experienced BI / AWS Engineer to join us on a remote basis with occasional travel to London or Swindon once a month. This is an IR35 inside contract, so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the assignment. You will join us in supporting the development of a modern data platform and helping shape emerging AI-driven initiatives within a business intelligence and analytics environment. We are looking for someone with strong AWS data engineering and BI experience, plus practical exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools.
