Field Service Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• We require experience working with the UK MoD or the defence sector.
• We require strong infrastructure and networking knowledge, including Windows Server, VMware, firewalls, LAN, WAN, and VLAN.
• We require active SC Clearance and eligibility to obtain DV clearance.
• We require a full UK driving licence.
• We require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• We would prefer candidates with CCNA, ITIL, Linux, or crypto device experience.
• We would prefer candidates with an Electronic Warfare or military background.

Responsibilities

• We deliver maintenance, upgrades, and technical support for high-value systems used in critical operational environments.
• We work hands-on with hardware, Windows Server, VMware, firewalls, routers, and secure networks.
• We support customers both on-site and remotely.
• We travel regularly across the UK to customer sites.
• We travel occasionally to mainland Europe and other international locations.
• We participate in a 24/7 on-call rota, typically one week in four.
• We provide support for mission-critical systems and advanced defence technology.

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer based in Woking or London, UK, offering up to £70,000 per annum plus an on-call allowance. This is a highly customer-facing role within a defence environment, where you will support mission-critical systems and work with advanced technology for critical operational use.
