People Lead

Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements

• Knowledge of End User Services / Digital Modern Workplace would be advantageous.
• ITIL understanding and/or applications would be of benefit.
• Refined communication and organisational skills, with the ability to speak effectively with engineers, end users, senior management and third-party suppliers.
• Experience leading multidisciplined teams with differing priorities.
• Financial acumen for managing resource costs.
• Coaching and/or mentoring experience.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations regarding approaches and performance.

Responsibilities

• Support performance reviews, career conversations and day-to-day leadership to get the best from our people.
• Drive the attainment of objectives and contribute to overall team success.
• Understand and empathise with account challenges and complexities, and help ensure resolution.
• Act as an escalation point for people issues, resource planning and new work take-on.
• Manage resource costs, support hiring and ensure the right people are in the right roles.
• Support meetings where needed to resolve concerns, define best-practice approaches and ensure successful delivery.

We are seeking an experienced People Lead to support a growing technology delivery function within a complex and dynamic client environment. This is a 6-month contract based in Barrow-in-Furness with a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, offering a competitive daily rate.
