Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements
- We need degree-educated candidates in a STEM discipline from a Russell Group university.
- We need hands-on experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- We need Python coding and scripting skills for automation.
- We need experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- We need experience with monitoring and alerting tools to track infrastructure health and identify anomalies.
- We need a good understanding of backup strategies and RTO/RPO concepts, with experience validating recovery procedures.
- We need strong collaboration and communication skills.
- We would value ISO 27001 or SOC2 accreditation experience.
Responsibilities
- We will have you maintain and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure.
- We will have you monitor system health, respond to incidents, and help keep our platforms reliable and resilient.
- We will have you strengthen our security and compliance posture by triaging findings and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- We will have you drive continuous improvement across our environment.
- We will have you support backup and recovery testing.
- We will have you track remediation actions and improve operational resilience.
- We will have you identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using Python and AWS CLI.
- We will have you contribute to the ongoing development of our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- We will have you help enhance and scale our platform as it evolves.
