Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a Principal Engineer with strong backend and platform engineering experience.
• We require experience building distributed systems within start-ups or scale-ups.
• We are looking for someone with cloud architecture experience, ideally with AWS.
• We require experience scaling products and infrastructure in fast-moving environments.
• We value strong systems design capability and the ability to influence technical direction.
• We prefer candidates with experience in AI-native, ML-heavy, or LLM-focused environments.
• We are looking for a product-focused engineer who is comfortable working autonomously.
• We want someone who remains hands-on while operating at a principal level.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React/TypeScript, Postgres, queue/event-driven architectures, and LLM integrations is highly relevant.
