Requirements

• We need experience delivering solution architecture artefacts in line with established processes, policies, and technology strategy.
• We need the ability to produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Design (DLD) documents, along with other relevant architecture artefacts.
• We need experience establishing clear, agreed, and well-understood solution architecture for programme delivery.
• We need the ability to engage with stakeholders across architecture, security, data, ERP, and related teams.
• We need familiarity with integration landscapes involving SAP, GIS, data lakes, and scheduled interfaces.
• We need experience working within architectural governance processes and adhering to SI standards, whether full or light SI processes.

Responsibilities

• We will support the AIPM platform procurement phase by delivering architecture artefacts aligned to our processes and technology strategy.
• We will produce HLD, DLD, and any other relevant solution architecture documents required for the programme.
• We will help establish a clear solution architecture that can be delivered during the programme phase.
• We will engage with the final bidder solution architect, colleagues from our SA practice, and relevant stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• We will provide regular updates to ensure timely progress and stakeholder assurance.
• We will coordinate with teams such as Security, our data squads, and ERP stakeholders.
• We will consider and support integrations across SAP, GIS, and the current AIPM platform, including data flows to our data lake.

We are hiring a Solution Architect for a 2-month initial contract role based in the UK or remote, offering a day rate of £540 inside IR35. Our Asset Investment Planning & Management (AIPM) platform is currently in procurement, and we already have an existing platform in place. This role is focused on supporting architecture delivery during the programme phase, working across our internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the solution is well-defined, governed, and aligned to our wider technology strategy.
