z/OS Systems Programmer

Salary: £57,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong mainframe systems programming background
• Experience with: z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL
• IBM & CA product knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience in regulated environments (ideally banking/financial services)
• Nice to haves: Assembler, REXX, GDPS, automation, Top Secret, Omegamon / RMF / SMF / SAS

Responsibilities

• Supporting and upgrading z/OS and core mainframe tooling
• Managing IBM and CA (Broadcom) products
• Handling production issues and system improvements
• Supporting deployments, testing, and configuration
• Joining an on-call rota for out-of-hours changes
