Senior Data Consultant

Salary: £55,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Consultant in a client-facing role within a consultancy environment
• Strong background in creating data strategies and conducting data maturity assessments
• Familiarity with data vision generation, use case & value mapping, and data literacy initiatives
• Experience in designing, building, and configuring end-to-end analytics solutions
• Proficiency in basic coding (e.g., SQL, Python) and data modeling
• Knowledge of data migration processes and IT architecture systems integration
• Excellent documentation skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to build strong client relationships and be seen as a trusted advisor
• Commercial exposure to developing successful proposals and presentations
• Self-starter with strong leadership qualities for guiding project teams

Responsibilities

• Engage with client stakeholders and lead workshops to gather requirements
• Define the scope of work and manage project plans for various data initiatives
• Work on data strategy formation, maturity assessments, and data governance efforts
• Utilize hands-on data skills for coding, migrations, and integrations
• Provide strategic advice and solutions tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with colleagues during office visits in London Bridge
• Occasionally visit client sites and the group HQ in Surrey as required
• Guide project teams to achieve goals and objectives
