Job Description
Salary: £39,500 - 71,000 per year
Requirements
- We require current SC clearance or eligibility for SC clearance, and you must be a British Citizen or British National.
- We are looking for over 5 years of proven practical testing experience.
- We require ISTQB Testing certification or equivalent.
- We need experience testing React components and related technologies.
- We need experience testing Microsoft Dynamics products.
- We need experience testing Power Apps and Power Platform solutions.
- We require experience using Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps Test Plans for requirements, test, and bug management.
- We need experience testing data migrations, including planning tests around migrated data.
- We require hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- We need knowledge and practical experience of accessibility testing, both manually and with tooling such as browser add-ons and screen reader toolsets.
- We require experience testing both front-end and back-end system components.
- We need the ability to create meaningful test result reports.
- We are looking for strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- We require experience working in Scrum and contributing to all ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- We need strong skills in writing and executing clear, accurate manual test cases and test scripts.
- We require strong communication and collaboration skills, both remotely and in person.
- We need the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work targets.
- We are looking for an analytical, proactive approach to testing and problem solving.
- We require the ability to drive testing processes from planning through execution, bug fixing, and support.
- We need the ability to engage effectively with customers at all levels.
- Non-functional testing experience, including performance and/or security testing, is desirable.
Responsibilities
- We will expect you to plan, document, and execute manual tests.
- We will expect you to capture and maintain test evidence.
- We will expect you to assist with user story refinement, elaboration, and test estimation.
- We will expect you to develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases for functionality and regression testing, covering positive and negative scenarios.
- We will expect you to plan and carry out accessibility testing to WCAG 2.2 AA and GDS standards.
- We will expect you to conduct API testing where needed to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- We will expect you to test data-driven scenarios relating to migrated data.
- We will expect you to collaborate with team members, managers, and client stakeholders.
- We will expect you to report, track, and support resolution of defects with the development team.
- We will expect you to participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis activities.
- We will expect you to monitor and track test metrics and contribute to weekly reporting.
- We will expect you to ensure solutions align with customer requirements.
- We will expect you to analyse functional and non-functional use cases and identify regression test candidates.
- We will expect you to create, maintain, and execute a regression test pack.
- We will expect you to support testing of reusable React components as part of the initial project assignment.
