Automotive Software Engineer (Reverse Engineering)

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in reverse engineering software back to binary level.
• We need experience using reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, Radare, or similar.
• We require the ability to code in C/C++.
• We are looking for someone who can work with Assembly code.
• We need someone who can work remotely.
• Experience working under ISO 26262 is desirable.
• Experience with embedded systems, MCUs, or ECUs is highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• We work collaboratively as a team to solve complex technical challenges.
• We reverse engineer software and firmware from leading automotive manufacturers.
• We reverse engineer MCUs and ECUs back to binary level.
• We develop and support tuning software used to improve vehicle performance and fuel consumption.
• We code in C/C++ and Assembly as part of the engineering workflow.
• We work in an environment aligned with ISO 26262.
