Requirements
- We are looking for experience in UK construction accounting and commercial processes, including CIS, valuations, applications for payment, retentions, variations, WIP, and subcontractor management.
- We need strong change management skills, including stakeholder engagement, communications planning, training, and adoption.
- We require confident project management experience, including scoped delivery, budgeting, RAID management, and clear status reporting across multiple projects.
- We need the ability to turn operational needs into clear, usable system designs and reports.
- We are looking for excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, with confidence working with both executives and site teams.
- We value a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on customer success and measurable outcomes.
- It is nice to have experience line-managing junior consultants or coaching and mentoring others, with readiness to hold direct reports.
- It is nice to have proven experience implementing construction-related software, such as ERP, finance, project controls, cost management, or field/project management systems.
- It is nice to have experience with integrations between finance or ERP systems and field or project tools.
- It is nice to have exposure to UK GAAP, HMRC reporting, and MTD.
- It is nice to have prior experience with Sage Intacct Construction.
- We welcome candidates from quantity surveying or finance/accounting backgrounds within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- We lead stakeholders through change by mapping current and future processes, building buy-in, and guiding adoption.
- We facilitate clear decision-making across commercial, finance, operations, and site leadership.
- We plan communications and training tailored to different audiences, including project accountants, QSs, site managers, and finance teams.
- We own end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, solution design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare.
- We run effective project rhythms such as kick-offs, show-and-tells, and risk reviews, while managing RAID logs and keeping delivery on time and on budget.
- We build practical dashboards and reporting that support confident day-to-day decision-making.
- We act as trusted advisors on project accounting, subcontractor management, procurement, valuations, and contract administration.
- We translate real-world construction needs into robust system designs and simple, usable workflows.
- We measure outcomes such as adoption, cycle times, and reporting accuracy, then iterate to deliver lasting results.
- We guide configuration across core areas including projects and job costing, contracts, purchasing, AP/AR, time and expenses, and cash management.
- We oversee data migration for job histories, subcontractors, suppliers, valuations, retentions, and contracts, with a focus on integrity and reconciliation.
- We coordinate integrations with common UK construction tools such as Procore, Autodesk/Build, Eque2, COINS-adjacent systems, field time-tracking, and AP automation.
- We carry out configuration and data migration tasks when needed to unblock the team and keep delivery moving.
- We provide direct line management for junior consultants, including regular 1:1s, objectives, coaching, performance reviews, and wellbeing support.
- We mentor across the wider team and contribute to playbooks, templates, and training.
- We conduct value-led demos and discovery, shape statements of work and estimates, and contribute to presales and marketing content.

We are a growing and personable financial software business supporting UK construction companies to deliver projects more smoothly and predictably. We offer training on Sage Intacct Construction, so prior Intacct experience is not required.
