BI Analyst – Data Visualisation

Salary: £42,000 - 48,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a BI Analyst / Data Visualisation consultant with several years of experience designing, developing, and distributing dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
• We need hands-on experience with SQL.
• We need experience with one or more server/database administration tools such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, or Google Analytics.
• We need experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including pivot tables and graphing.
• Experience calling APIs is ideal.
• Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
• Some understanding of Python is preferred.
• We require someone who is happy to work onsite in Glasgow 3 days per week.
• The role is inside IR35, so we require the successful candidate to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

• We will rely on you to transform complex data into clear, engaging, and actionable visualisations that help stakeholders understand key insights, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• We will expect you to collaborate with clients to understand their data needs.
• We will need you to design custom dashboards, charts, and interactive reports.
• We will expect you to ensure visualisations are both aesthetically appealing and functionally effective.

We are recruiting for a BI Analyst / Data Visualisation consultant based in Glasgow, working 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remotely. This is an inside IR35 contract, so the successful candidate will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the assignment. We are looking for someone who can help us turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders, and we encourage interested candidates who can start as soon as possible and are comfortable with the onsite working arrangement to apply.
