Product Manager

Salary: £43,000 - 73,000 per year

Requirements

• We need strong Product Management experience.
• We need experience in UK Social Housing, either as a customer or software solution provider.
• We need strong knowledge of project life-cycle, methodologies, and delivering projects on time and on budget.
• We need experience in defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
• We need experience with housing management systems or related software.
• We need excellent presentation and communication skills.
• We would value proven ability to build relationships and understand client perspectives.
• We would value effective time management and resource allocation.
• We would value strong decision-making skills.
• We would value a full, valid UK/EC driving license for travel.
• We would value experience in end-to-end product life cycle management.
• We would value experience designing digital solutions for the social housing sector, including mobile apps and web platforms.

Responsibilities

• We carry out market research to understand the legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic landscape, as well as changing market drivers.
• We collaborate with specialised Product Managers to bring components of the NEC Housing platform together to create user-friendly, streamlined end-to-end processes and identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
• We collaborate with customers through co-design workshops, User Group sessions, and customer meetings to understand sector needs and how these influence customer requirements.
• We define customer business needs and objectives, aligning them to product strategy so our products and solutions meet or exceed customer and market expectations.
• We stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in technology to remain competitive.
• We build business cases as required to define market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.
• We identify third-party requirements and liaise with and manage third-party suppliers, systems integrators, or other organisations as required.
• We support the team to define, manage, and maintain the roadmap.
• We assist the Pre-Sales/Sales team with the production, review, and management of bid responses, sales proposals, and quotations as required.
• We work closely with project delivery teams to ensure a strong understanding of the end-to-end process.
• We produce and deliver presentations for both customer and internal audiences.
• We support product launch activities.
