Visualfiles Developer - Remote

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• Development background with at least 3 years experience of designing, developing and delivering bespoke business applications
• Prior VisualFiles development experience and knowledge of Legal workflows
• Commercial awareness and inquisitiveness to understand challenges faced by the firm and its clients
• Ability to quickly identify at-risk projects and communicate effectively to manage expectations
• Innovative mindset with willingness to experiment and explore new technology solutions
• Strong focus on application security and data protection
• Familiarity with C#, VB, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS is desirable
• Willingness to learn new methods and techniques

Responsibilities

• Technical development of business solutions interfacing with the firms line of business applications and customizing off-the-shelf software
• Develop the case management system to optimize business efficiency and procedures
• Support the integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages, including the practice management system
• Propose, design, and implement new systems while analyzing existing systems for optimization opportunities
• Assist with business process analysis to enhance and develop workflow processes
• Collaborate closely with the Projects team to map out projects
• Build process improvement workflows across the line of business application stack
• Design data structures and access methods for custom development
